A member asked:

All of the mood modifiers seem to produce seizures in me at very low doses. how can i convince my doctor of this?

It is your choice: You must be in charge of your treatment. If you feel a treatment causes more side effect then benefit, it is your choice to stop treatment. Work with your doctor to find management you can tolerate. There are good medications that are mood modifiers and anti-epileptics. Good mood management should be possible without medication side effects.
