A member asked:

I am a 40 male and my pelvic bone hurts can't sit bend or lay what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Anterior groin pain can mean a hip problem like arthritis, stress fracture, or labrum tear. Lateral hip pain can be associated with bursitis or referred pain from the si (sacroiliac) joint or lower back. Posterior hip pain can be caused by sciatica, sacroiliitis, or piriformis syndrome. Muscles or ligaments can be pain generators or it may be organs or viscera in the pelvis.
