Common problem: Usually a transient issue but can last years.

Yes: Kids will usually grind their teeth - especially in what we call 'mixed dentition' - when there are some baby teeth and some grownup teeth in the mouth together. This usually resolves by itself when all of the baby teeth are gone and the kids are older.

Yes.: It is very common for young children to grind their teeth while asleep. It normally stops when they are older.
