Dry eye: Dry eye can not be cured but can be treated. It is treated with artificial tears during the day, ointment at night, warm compresses, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. If no improvement, you may need to see an eye doctor for prescription meds and/or punctal plugs.

Dry eyes!: Start with artificial tears routinely (one drop 4 times a day every day), oral omega-3's, and warm compresses. Next, medicated drops (restasis, mild steroid drops, NSAID drops) or punctal occlusion may be helpful.
