Unknown: All o f the data we have is based on the japanese wwii nuclear bomb exposures. You should gtry to limit your exposure as much as possible but with lower level exposures we do not have direct correlations with the resultls of these exposures.

Difficult to know: Please make sure there is good medical necessity before more imaging using ionizing radiation. Ct carries the highest dose. However, the risk of the current medical problem may easily outweigh the potential risk of a future cancer. Almost all data comes from nuclear incidents with much higher radiation in 1 large dose. It is difficult to calculate risk at low levels used in ct over months/yrs.
