Almost 500,000: Difficult to get exact numbers. Close to 300, 000 coronary artery bypass, although this number is trending down due to stents, anticholesterol meds, smoking sessation, etc. Then there are surgeries for aneurysms, valvular disease and many different pediatric heart surgeries. So somewhere around 450k to 500k.
