A member asked:

I'm a 57-year-old man who had an open-heart surgery in 2008. 2 weeks ago, a stony-hard mass appeared at the site of the operation. what can it be?

By site of the: operation I assume you mean the scar on your chest. This could be any of a number of different things none of which can be diagnosed over the internet. The mass needs to be seen and evaluated. Go to see the heart surgeon and show it to him.
