Not recommended.: First, you can't diagnose the fracture without an x-ray, MRI or ct scan, and you would have to see a doctor to make the diagnosis. Second, there are many different types of midfoot fractures, and while some minor ones may heal on their own, most require treatment, such as a cast, boot or even surgery. Failure to treat the fracture correctly can lead to lifelong problems.

Yes: It is definitely possible for a patient to heal a midfoot fracture without going to a doctor, but i would definitely recommend an evaluation by a doctor with appropriate imaging studies and treatment for best results.
