4-6 weeks: Midfoot sprains take a bit longer to get over than ankle sprains. As long as the clinical exam X-rays +- MRI/CT do not show signs of instability . Best is to wear a stiff shoed shoe that laces up ( to accommodate swelling) . The stiff sole prevent you from putting stress on the healing ligaments. Most people walk 5-10,000 stapes a day.
