Anxiety: Suggest see pcp or psychiatrist to determine underlying cause(s) for anxiety. Doc may prescribe med to reduce anxiety as you learn to control it. Good history & physical may reveal condition like hyperthyroidism in which nervousness/anxiety is a symptom, or like low blood sugar.

Get a psych eval: The best first step is to see a professional and get evaluated. This could be your primary care doctor, who would first rule out physical conditions that could cause this, or you could see a mental health professional (eg, psychiatrist, psychologist, etc) who specializes in problems just as you are describing. Either way, there is effective treatment once the problem is identified.
