I broke my ankle a year ago, why is it still stiff sometimes?

Arthritis: You will need to follow up with a podiatrist for examination and x-rays to evaluate ankle for posttraumatic arthritis. If after exam you might need an MRI or bone scan to r/o any micro fractures. In the meantime have you had any physical therapy or exercise therapy to strengthen your ankle and relieve your symptoms.
