Yes: Light cramping early in pregnancy can be related to the cyst on the ovary that ovulated producing the hormone Progesterone which is supporting the pregnancy. The cramping is usually transient minimal in nature. Any pain that last for a longer period of time or is also accompanied with bleeding should be communicated to your doctor.
