A member asked:

Is it normal to have light cramping during early pregnancy it feels the same as menstrual cramps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cramping: pregnant: If this is your first pregnancy, as the uterus is stretched to accommodate the growing fetus, cramps will seem like menstrual cramps but without bleeding. If the cramps persist, see your OB provider for an ultrasound to make certain the pregnancy is progressing well.
