A member asked:

Are moderate cramps normal for early pregnancy? i'm 4 weeks and i've been having stretching/pulling cramps. they get worse when i move around.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be normal: Stretching/pulling cramps are not uncommon in early pregnancy, and often relate to the stretching of the round ligaments--supporting structures for the uterus. But there are other possible causes as well. You should ask your doctor at your next appointment, and if you have bleeding or severe cramps, see your dr right away.
