Then U need an eval: Medical evaluation is very appropriate for you if your gerd-like symptoms don't respond appropriately to typical acid-blockers. Perhaps the drug you've taken is too weak, or you have alkaline (not acid) reflux, or esophageal dysmotility is present that mimics reflux, or you have eosinophilic esophagitis (kind of like an allergy in your gut), or you hyper-secrete acid. Get checked please.
