No, but...: It's better than not losing any weight. However, in the grand scheme of things, 4 pounds won't change any symptoms. But, it's a good start. One can continue eating "less than needed to live on", and her excessive weight will continue to decrease. It's plain physics: if she takes in fewer calories than her body requires, then her body will start burning stored fat to use for calories.
