Not Herpangina: Herpangina is more than slightly painful to swallow, it is excruciating & almost impossible to swallow because of the ulcers on the uvula & the fauces of the throat. 3-4 miserable days ahead if you have this. Nsaids with extra strength tylenol (acetaminophen) may provide some relief. If your sore throat is only slight then its probably a virus & will go away, if it is more severe get checked for strep.
