Yes: Topamax or topiramate for generic is an anti-seizure medication. However, it has been used as a medicine to decrease the frequency and intensity of nerve related pain or neuropathic pain. It has also been used in management of migraine type headaches to as maintenance medication.

Topamax (topiramate): Topamax is used for the treatment of neuropathic pain like lyrica, (pregabalin) gabapentin, gabitril, tegretol etc.
