Very common problem: At age one to two children experiment a lot with oral stimulation. Some are all hand to mouth while others are very oral defensive. They need to experiment with flavors and textures. Provide many different types and textures and do not force foods on him. Often finger foods are fun or small pieces of fruits and cheese and crackers and cereal pieces. Some only tolerate pureed or mashed.
