Hypnagogic: Many persons develop strange feelings, illusions and even hallucinations as they fall asleep. These are not dangerous but can be annoying. Calming before sleep may help. Special tea may help. Avoid excess alcohol or stimulants.

Normal: This is part of the body relaxing just before sleep. So don't be too concerned about this normal process. But if you have other things going on you should see your doctor.
