No: Someday stem cell will heal it but for now surgery is it. It's pretty easy to get it fixed now they use a scope.

No: Surgery is currently the only way to fix a hernia. You can try using things like an abdominal binder or hernia belt to try to avoid it getting larger or strangulated. Most hernia's can be fixed laparoscopically as an outpatient surgery with a relatively short recovery time.
