Short answer: yes: If you still have an intact salpynx (tube and ovary), it is possible to get infected, twist on itself or have an ectopic pregnancy develop. If your menstrual cycles are off or bad, seek help from gynecologist. The hernia surgery probably didn't do anything to the remaining tube or ovary.
