Nonsense: Your jaw is not dislocated as long as you can open and fully close your teeth together. Anyone who tells you that your jawe is dislocated and needs to re-align your jaw for treatment of TMJ is a quack. Your bite can be bad and need correction, is that is what you mean? Your jaw is dislocated if you cannot close your teeth together, and then you should go to get help at once. You can have anesthes.

Dislocated?: In this forum, I feel "jaw dislocation" is often used as a term for dislocated TMj disk. Different entities - different treatment protocol. Please explain your symptoms rather than a diagnosis, Then appropriate recommendations can be made about treatment. In any event, best person to examine you if not sure, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
