Will smokeless tobacco still rot my teeth if i brush and floss every day?

Yes: You can not brush away the possible long term effects of having a foreign substance against your gums and teeth for long periods of time. Sort answer...It can still cause cancer of the lip or gum tissue...Don't do it.

Gum disease: Even if you brush and floss daily smokeless tobacco will still affect your gums. Specifically gum recession will occur and expose more of the roots of your teeth. Of course the obvious reason to not use smokeless tobacco is the risk of oral/esophageal cancer in the long term, but please realize that once the gums start to recede the jaw bone goes with it and it will not come back.
