What is the recommended amount of time to keep a swollen foot elevated?

Swollen foot: The first right thing to do is determine the cause of the swelling , this will aid in determining the duration of elevation ( ie : how long healing takes ) . If the cause is vascular , then a referral to a vascular doctor is needed . the cause of the swelling is the key .
