Needs work up: Swelling of both feet and ankles requires a through investigation . Most likely it is due to fluid retention ( edema ) it is also possible to have an inflammation of the ankle joint (less likely ) . Minimum investigation requires history , physical examination and urine test.

Swelling: With swelling that has not spontaneously receded an evaluation is indicated. See your podiatrist for assistance - the swelling could be compressing blood vessels serving nerves. Go sooner and not later - good luck !
