Tetraclycline teeth: Check with your dentist. Tetracycline stained teeth can often be whitened with good results. Additional treatment beyond tooth whitening is restoring the teeth with porcelain veneers.

See a dentist : It is very difficult to lighten staining caused by antibiotics because the color is inside the tooth instead of outside like staining from smoking and tobacco use. See a dentist for a whitening consult but i would bet you need veneers or crowns. Most dentists will work out an affordable financial arrangement with you to help give you a great smile.

Bleaching will fail: In office or otc bleaching will fail with this type of discoloration. You will need cosmetic dentistry, with options of porcelain veneers, porcelain fused to metal or porcelain crowns. The veneers require less tooth removal but unless the veneers are done correctly, they can stain over time. You will have to decide how many teeth to have done- normally the front six or seven, upper and lower.
