Minocycline: This is a challenge for long term use. Short term use should not cause a problem.

No concern: Minocycline is a cleaner drug than either Doxycycline or Tetracycline that have the potential to stain teeth in younger patients. After the age of 18 there is minimal if any risk of damage to the teeth. Continue good oral hygiene however. Good luck and good health.

Minocycline: is known to have tooth darkening even in adults, not just the formative years of tooth development.

Antibiotic: Should be taken for as long as prescribed by your doctor. Do NOT discontinue prematurely. Do not discontinue without informing your doctor. Should be OK for short-term use. Curing your infection should be your primary consideration.
