Different types: In anesthesia the GI cocktail is only bicitra, (citric acid and sodium citrate) non particulate antacid. In emergency room they use maalox, viscous Lidocaine and sometimes they add donnatal, antispasmodic. Donnatal can increase your hr and be dangerous for a heart patient.?
