Carpal tunnel surgery 14 days ago. have slight tingling in fingers and side of hand. is this normal?

Normal: Usually after the surgery you may have those symptoms because of the manipulaton of the nerve in the carpal tunnel or wrist. For how long, it depends. Follow the instructions of the surgeon or wear a cock up splint for relief.

Likely a sign of : Healing. Keep the hand elevated to reduce swelling. Tingling is one of the signs of nerve recovery.

Normal: Some residual tingling is common after surgery and usually resolves with time. Let your surgeon know about your symptoms but these typically resolve as the healing process progresses.
