Wellbutrin (bupropion) : You should always take your medications, including wellbutrin (bupropion) based upon the instructions provided by your physician. How close together one can take doses of wellbutrin (bupropion) depends upon the formulation of the medication, acute release, sustained-release or extended release. Doses of the acute release preparation, by label, must be taken at least four hours apart.
