Possibly: A cavity in a wisdom tooth can cause jaw symptoms even in absence of temporomandibular disorders. Consult a dentist before symptoms get worse.

Probably not: I am assuming the wisdom tooth cavity is deep. If not the wisdom tooth should not be causing any pain from the cavity. The two are not related but a person can feel like the pain is coming from the same area. A dentist should be able to differentiate the two.

Depends: If the cavity in the wisdom tooth affects your chewing on one side of the face, it can alter the mechanism of balance (teeth-muscles-jaw joint triad) and create additional or more severe tmd symptoms. See a dentist asap.

Yes: Any local infection/inflammation like a cavity can make TMJ pain worse, although the joint itself is not affected. Treat the cavity and the TMj problem should settle back to it's baseline condition.
