Please tell me if you can have a wisdom tooth pulled with a cavity while awake?

YES: I remove wisdom teeth that are impacted or erupted routinely with just local anesthesia. You may feel a little pressure or hear a little noise if the surgeon needs to make a ditch around the tooth to make room to elevate it but that is all. Talk to your surgeon.
