Osteomyelitis: Is an infection in the bone. If you are able to see pus coming from bone, i think you should be in the hospital being treated. Pus from bone needs to be drained properly. You should be on antibiotics as well. This is a serious problem which may require bone to be removed.

Osteomyelitis : Bone infection or osteomyelitis can happen due to different causes, stepping on rusty nail can do it, or if you are diabetic any foot sores, abrasions or wounds can go deeper into tissues and get into the bones due to lower immune response, and vascular changes from high blood sugars. In any case if it's a bone infection, you can lose your foot unless it is treated properly, make sure you go to dr.
