65 year old female and frequent, lengthy nose bleeds. bruise easily -cause?

Bleeding disorder?: I would like to get a thorough history: has this been happening for many years or is it recent? The most common cause is taking an anticoagulant, like aspirin, or vitamin e, garlic, Ibuprofen etc. Would also probably get a platelet count. Usually it's nothing major, but it should get checked out.
