Hida scan showed my gallbladder is only functioning 15%! is that why my total bilirubin was always high & i have severe acid reflux? what else?

Doc: Check with your doc you may need an ultrasound of your gallbladder. No big deal. Acid reflux can be easily fixed with ppis. You are young and should not have these problems. Check with your doc.

Possibly: Jaundice can be caused by liver disease interfering with function. Gallstones at the opening of the bile duct, or within the bile duct can cause obstruction to bile flow. Bilirubin is then unable to pass from the liver through the biliary system, backs up into the blood stream. Acid reflux and gb disease not related , both cause pain 15% gb ejection fraction ususally means significant gb diseas.
