A member asked:

A has been having chest pain for months. gi says its not acis reflux, cardiologist said heart is fine & pulmonary doctor says his lungs are good. his hida scan showed his gallbladder functioning at 24%. could that cause his pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gallbladder. : Gallbladder pathology will usually cause discomfort in the right upper abdominal quadrant. It would be unlikely that this would be causing your chest pain. However, if this is the only issue that is being found then diagnosis should be pursued further.
