Needs urgent eval: Progressive numbness - if real - needs to be evaluated urgently (if not emergently - depending on the exact scenario). The sensation to the face comes through some very specific nerves that may be effected anywhere along their course form the brain to the skin. This should be considered serious until proven otherwise by a physician and various tests. Hope this helps you.

Upper/lower: Depending if its a upper or lowe. If it was a simple proceedure it's possible that while giving the anesthetic he hit the actual nerve in this case it could take serval months. If it was lower wisdom teeth it's possible the nerve was effected during the extraction.

Hard to say: Numbness usually indicates some form of nerve damage or trauma and usually will go away. Yours sounds to be progressing and i would rec you see your dentist (or physician) to have them check for any pathology. Let them know if you recently had trauma, or if you notice swelling or have any other medical issues. Xrays and exam may reveal the problem.

See a Neurologist : Your symptoms, as they are progressive, require immediate evaluation. Please contact your GP, Urgent Care, or ER to immediately be placed into contact with a Neurologist.
