Have had ear infection 4 weeks was on amoxicillin now azithromycin not better . suggestions?

ENT evaluation.: Please see ENT physician. Ear nose throat. You might need to have cultures taken from ear if there is any discharge, to give correct antibiotics.. May need ct scan of head to check for any abscess.

See a doctor: If the ear infection did not respond quickly to the antibiotics, there are a couple of possibilities to consider. You may have a viral infection (which will not respond to antibiotics) or you may have a resistant bacteria which will require a different antibiotic . See your doctor if you are not getting better.
