Specializes in Orthopedic Surgery

Knee joint pain: Check with your pcp or orthopedic surgeon. Determine the cause: meniscus, acl, pcl, mcl, lcl, effusion, loose body, arthritis, synovitis, quad injury, hamstring injury, tendonitis, referred pain from the hip, referred pain from a lumbar disc/spur, localized neuritis, etc. Initial treatments are conservative and include rest, ice, compression, elevation, pain meds, nsaids, etc.
