See below: Locking and clicking are very suggested of a torn meniscus which is a wedge of cartilage on both the inner and outer part of the knees. In certain types of tears, the torn piece can get dislodged partially when the person bends their knee and then prevents them from straightening it fully. It can also cause painful clicking.
