KERATOSIS PILARIS!: My current research (rheumatology 1: 2012), shows that virtually all patients with this extensor surface rash, usually of the upper arms, have sinusitis, usually chronic, seen on x-ray or ct-scan. The creams are generally worthless. It was thought secondary to allergies, but these promote chronic sinusitis. Keratolytic creams containing salicyclic acid will help, but you need sinusitis cure.!
