What is the prognosis for someone who had radiation for hip cancer and now has a hip fracture?

Fair: Radiation and tumors will weaken the hip and can predispose people to fractures. If the cancer has been eradicated, the fracture should heal with proper treatment and surgery. If the cancer is still present, the hip can be stabilized but cancer treatment must continue.
