Immediately : If nothing is wrong under crown it can be recemented. If left off too long the teeth can shift and the crown may no longer fit.

Yes: There are many reasons why a crown would fall off. It could be because the tooth is decayed or the tooth has broken or has a short stub and thus the crown does not stay on. Only a dentist can determine why. So please see a dentist asap to get the tooth restored.
