9 mm?: Do you mean 9 millimeters? If so the gallbladder should be removed as it is likely chronically inflamed. Top normal size in a contracted gallbladder is 7 mm, the size can vary depending on how recently you have eaten, but 9 mm is definitely abnormal. See a surgeon for evaluation.
