Call the surgeon: There is always some pain/dicomfort after a sugical procedure and the doc who did your surgery should be best person to manage your pain--he/she knows what was done. It is expected that you will have some pain, but if it is excessive or worsening, consult doc for eval as there is chance of infection etc...Tylenol/motrin may help ease the discomfort untill seen by doc. Good luck.

Call the surgeon.: Absolutely, call the person who did the surgery; he or she will want to know. Some pain is normal after any surgery, but excessive pain could be an indication of a postoperative infection, which is rare on the scalp, not not out of the question.

Don't: Don't miss your follow up and let your doctor know. Tylenol (acetaminophen) in normal circumstances should be enough for pain.
