Not likely: Right lower quadrant abd pain will be something besides gb. Most likely the source is musculo-skeletal, but could be bowel. If bloating, the irritation could originate from diverticular distention. Try eating yogurt twice daily, and also take a probiotic such as culturelle twice daily for 2 weeks. Aviod constipation with fiber, fruit, and fluids, and see your doctor if this doesn't resolve.

Scar tissue: You are 37 years old a female and had gallbladder removed. For 5 months you have pinching pains that can get better with gas meds. You may have scar tissue or adhesions following the gallbladder surgery. At this point see your doctor to work it up. It could even be a hernia from the ports used for surgery. Over 5 months of discomfort is too long.
