Distention: If your gb was removed due to malfunction, as opposed to pain due to gallstones, there's a small percentage of patients who have persistent symptoms - this is due to a less than perfect diagnosis.You could be having pain due to gaseous distention of the colon, which will be worse in the right colon as opposed to other areas. I suggest you have your liver functions checked, too. Good luck.

Gallbladder removed 3/6/23. Before the removal my liver enzymes had been slowly increasing and are now ALT 193 AST 133 Bilirubin 0.6. Alk Phos normal. CT scan and US were normal. No fever. Could this be a bile duct obstruction?
