What can be done about retro-spondylolisthesis of the spine?

May not need to fix: In retrolisthesis, the bone on top shifts backwards (posterior), the opposite of spondylolisthesis. Most of the time, a retrolisthesis is an incidental finding that in itself needs no treatment. It is a sign of degeneration. Unless there is pressure on the nerves or instability, no treatment is needed.

Exercise: The first treatments would be core muscle strengthening exercise, weight control and anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen or naprosyn (naproxen) (if there aren't medical reasons not to).
