Red/pink eyes: Pink eye, or conjunctivitis is a common ailment, especially in children. The white of the eye (sclera) becomes bloodshot, the inner eyelids are red, sometimes swollen, increased tears, and sometimes pus causes the lids to stick together. It can be bacterial, viral, or allergic and the treatment depends upon the etiology.
